CrockPot Recipes


I stumbled across some great crock pot recipes and wanted to post them before I lost them all! I cant take credit, but these are publicly published so it shouldnt be a problem!

All recipes should be divided into 2 freezer bags.
Sausage and Peppers
6 Italian Sausages (or chicken sausage)
2 green peppers
1 red pepper
1 large onion
4 cloves garlic, minced (if using store bought minced garlic.. 1/2 tsp= 1 clove)
2 cans Italian diced tomatoes
2 Tbs Italian seasoning
Add drizzle of Olive oil, cook on low 6 hours. Serve over hot noodles or fresh French bread.

Teriyaki Chicken
medium-large bag carrots
onion flakes
2 large cans pineapple (undrained)
4 garlic cloves, minced
4 chicken breasts
1 cup teriyaki sauce
Add add'l 1/4 cup sauce to crock pot. Cook on low 6-7 hours. Serve over hot rice.

Savory Chicken
4-6 chicken breasts
2 cans stewed tomatoes
4 Tbs white wine (or extra broth)
onion flakes
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup chicken broth
salt and pepper to taste
4 cups broccoli (added when cooking)
Cook on low 6-7 hours. Add broccoli in the last 30 min.

Lazy Day Stew
4 lbs cubed stewing beef
4 cups baby red potatoes (cut)
10 oz package dried lima beans
4 tsp quick-cooking tapioca
salt and pepper to taste
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce (1/2 in each bag)
2 Tbs brown sugar
Add 1 cup water. Cook on low 4-6 hours. Eat as soup or serve with noodles or rice

Meatballs
2 lb ground beef or turkey
4 garlic cloves, minced
salt and pepper to taste
2 slices white bread - Get the bread soggy and mix in with the other ingredients.
Roll mixture into balls and place in freezer bags.
cover with marinara sauce and cook in the slow cooker

Pulled Pork
3 lb pork roast
onion
Bullseye BBQ sauce
Cook in slow cooker 5-7 hours on low.

Hawaiian Chicken
4 chicken breasts
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 Tbl soy sauce
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1/2 can large pineapple chunks
Cook 6-7 hours on low. Serve over rice.

Beef burritos
2 lb top round roast
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 Tbl apple cider vinegar
2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
1 1/2 t chili powder
Cook on low 6-7 hours

Chicken Fajitas
1 1/2 pound chicken breast
2 peppers
onion flakes
1/2 cup chicken broth
taco seasoning packet
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp. paprika
1 tsp salt
Cook on low 6-7 hours.

Dijon chicken
2 pounds chicken
1 cup chicken broth
2 T Dijon mustard
3 garlic cloves, chopped
2 bay leaves
1/2 tsp thyme
Cook on low 6-7 hours. Remove bay leaves before serving

Italian Chicken
2 pounds chicken breast
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 packet ranch dressing mix
1/2 Tbl chili powder
1/2 cup water*
1 cup Italian dressing (added right before cooking)
*If frozen chicken is used-you won't need to add water to the bag*
Cook on low 6-7 hours.

Always Yummy Beef
3-7 pounds beef roast (any kind)
1 dry onion soup mix package
1 can cream of mushroom soup
3-7 potatoes, cut into cubes
2-4 carrots, cut
Cook on low 6-7 hours

Taco Roast
2.5 lb chuck roast
1 (14 oz) can beef broth
1 1/2 Tbl chili powder
1/2 Tbl cumin
1/2 Tbl onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
juice of 1 lime
Cook on low 6-7 hours.

Pork and Veggies
1 lb pork roast cut into 1/2 in. strips
1 onion chopped
1 green bell pepper, sliced
4 carrots, sliced
1/2 lb fresh mushrooms sliced
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
1.5 Tbl apple cider vinegar
1 tsp salt
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Cook on low 6-8 hours. Serve over hot rice

Sausage and White Bean Soup
1 lb sausage (I forgot the sausage but had extra ground beef.. so used beef instead.)
4 cloves garlic, minced
onion
(3) cans white beans
Italian style diced tomatoes
Box chicken broth 
Cook on low 6-8 hours.

Meat and Veggie Pasta Sauce
2 lb ground turkey or beef
2 zucchini
3 carrots
2 bell peppers
2 onions
Large can Pasta sauce 
Slice all of the veggies and divide between the two bags. Split the meat and sauce between the two bags as well.
Cook on low 6-7 hours. Serve over pasta.

Cream Cheesy Chicken
Bag of frozen Chicken Breast Tenderloins (2.5-3lb bag)
8 oz block of cream cheese (don't use Fat Free! 1/3 less fat or regular is fine)
Can of Black Beans, drained & rinsed. (or Pinto Beans if you prefer)
Can of Corn, drained.
Can of Rotel
Cover & cook in your Crock Pot on low for 6-8 hours. Serve over rice or in a tortilla

Pesto Ranch Crockpot Chicken
8 boneless skinless chicken thighs
6 ounce jar of pesto
1 package Ranch Dressing Seasoning Mix
1/2 cup chicken broth
Turn crock pot to high setting. Place chicken thighs, pesto, ranch dressing and chicken broth into crock pot. Stir gently to combine all seasonings. Close with lid and cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 6-8 hours.
Serve with a side of mashed potatoes and a simple salad.
