Love One Another

I recently read the article I'm Christian, unless you're gay and I agreed with most of the points. Reading the title, like me, it was almost a little offensive if you are Christian, but read the whole thing and you will understand it is not that at all. The author is basically discussing how Christians can be very judgemental for others who are different that themselves. I have witnessed this on multiple occasions, so I know how true it is. If Christians could reach out those people who do not share their beliefs, we wouldnt have as many negative stereotypical opinions of Christians. God told Christians to reach the world and the only way that can be accomplished is to speak to the tattoo-covered biker or the homeless man on the street. Relationships are the best way to reach people, so dont be scared of being friends with people who are different from you!

On that note, I also just came across this article where these Christians are living by that principle, and this gives Christianity the positive note that it needs. The group stated the following:

"While the ultimate message Jesus came to preach was one of love, grace and compassion, we’ve sadly misrepresented Him and alienated sons and daughters from their Father’s embrace… and I’m so excited to see how Nathan and his team took a different, humble approach and in the end, did something far more powerful than preaching or shouting… they showed love."

That is what the world needs. If we could all just love one another it would be a much better place!
