Little Journey line at Aldi!

So, my favorite store just got even better! My family LOVES shopping at Aldi because the prices are amazing and the food is organic, but they just launched their new Little Journey baby product line and with two kids under 2 in our house this is the best news I've gotten all year!

We couldn't wait to open our free box of Little Journey goodies! I love everything and as you can tell my oldest loves the pouches! She couldn't wait to eat it and she chowed down on the puffs right after taking this photo! She actually wanted to carry the whole carton around the house with her, but ended up dumping them all over the floor so now she will be eating floor puffs, but she couldn't care less! She loves the blueberry ones the best!


The diapers and wipes are also awesome and comparable to Huggies. The wipes are quilted and I can get most of the mess in one swipe, which I can't say for all brands! Definitely the best wipes for the best price! My box also included a coupon for formula, which I am SUPER excited about trying! Formula is so expensive, but Aldi has saved my life (and pocketbook) by offering affordable baby formula!

With the presidential inauguration of Donald J. Trump only hours away today, I felt like it was appropriate to update the old President's Song I memorized in 4th grade. Last Name Banner

Sooo.. you know you can buy those picture frames that spell out your last name with pictures of random objects that make letters? Like these... Well, Our last name has 11 letters - ELEVEN - so there is no picture frame on this earth long enough to contain all of those letters.  I could have spent a fortune to pay a company to make me one, but I figured it would be a lot more fun to take all of the letter pictures ourselves! I let the hubby know my plan and we planned a day at the local flea market to take pictures. When it rained us out, we went to the art museum instead and got a lot of great pictures! I used a tree root for the L and K, art sculptures for the S’s, and found a lot of E’s and the W with in the ancient artifacts exhibit. I later took a picture of our gate for the Z and some sticks in our backyard for the other Z. It was fun going on the scavenger hunt and it gave us something to do together as well!
